This article shows you step by step how to transfer BNB from Binance to Metamask or Trust Wallet under Binance Smart Chain Network.

I would assume you already have a Binance account. If not, you may use the link below to create one for free. This link entitles you to 10% commission for every transaction.

Instruction for Metamask or Trust Wallet:

The instruction below is for Metamask but it is very similar for Trust Wallet.

Log in to Metamask and switch to Binance Smart Chain (BSC) Network. BSC Network is not added to Metamask by default. If you have not previously added BSC Network to Metamask, please refer to this tutorial below. Skip this step if you are using Trust Wallet as it does not display assets of different networks separately.

Adding Binance Smart Chain (BSC) Network to Metamask

Copy the wallet address into clipboard.

Switch to Binance's website. Go to Wallet > Fiat and Spot.

Look/Search for BNB. If you are not seeing your BNB asset, check under Wallet > Overview. Go to "Withdraw".

Make sure that you select the correct coin. Spend a few seconds checking the minimum withdrawal amount and network fee. The network fee will be deducted from the amount you transfer. Click on the "Address Management" link and on the subsequent page click the "Add Address" button.

Enter an easily remembered label in the "Address label" field.

Select "BNB" under "Coin".

Paste the wallet address which you earlier copied in Metamask into the "Address" field.

Make sure you select "BSC Binance Smart Chain (BEP20)".

"Whitelisted" is optional. Check the box if you want to add extra security.

Under "Address origin", select "Wallet Address" and "Metamask" or "Trust Wallet" depending which wallet you are using. Click "Save".

Go back to the "Withdrawal" page in step 4.

Under Withdraw to > Address book, select the address which you have just added.

You will be asked 3 questions. You need to answer these questions to show that you understand what you are doing.

Once the 3 questions are answered correctly, the "Withdraw amount" field will show up. Enter the amount which you would like to transfer. Please take note that the amount you specify includes the network fee. If everything is OK, hit the "Withdraw" button. Review the pop-up details and click "Confirm" to proceed with the transaction.

Depending on your Binance security level setting, you will be asked for security verification as above. Fill up the input boxes accordingly and submit the form.

After the withdrawal request is submitted, hit the "Complete" button and you will see an "Awaiting Approval" message. It usually take less than two minutes for the transferred BNB to appear in your wallet although in the screenshot above it mentions the review might take approximately 12 hours.

Once the transaction is successful, you will see a "Completed" status showing below the withdrawal page. If not, please refresh your browser.

Check your Metamask or Trust Wallet. Make sure you have received the fund.

If you are not seeing the fund in Trust Wallet, you need to enable "Smart Chain BNB" (not "BNB - BNB") in the filter.

Unlike Metamask which displays assets in Ethereum Network and Binance Smart Chain Network separately, Trust Wallet mixes all assets from different networks and show them under one interface.

Low BSC Transaction Fee

If you have paid some attention, you will notice that the transaction fee paid above is only 0.0005 BNB or $0.249. This is very low compared to the insanely high transaction fees of Ethereum Network.
