Steps of installing the script.
Installation:
The installation procedures described below are the default setup. You may rename the filenames or folders or even change the folders' location if you are sure what you are doing:
cusrec.cgi and cusrecmail.cgi:
1) Change the first line (path to Perl) of the script.
2) Go to STEP 2 in the "cusrec.cgi" script. Read the instruction there and modify the variables accordingly. Upload to the cgi bin and chmod to 755.
3) Open "cusrecmail.cgi". Modify the variables at the top part. Upload to cgi bin and chmod to 755.
4) Create a folder "cusrec" (chmod to 777) under your root directory.
5) Open "admin.htm" and change the form action URLs. Upload to the "cusrec" folder.
6) Upload all other images amd htm pages to the "cusrec" folder.
- Be reminded that images SHOULD NOT be placed INSIDE the cgi bin.
- You may re-create your own admin template. Place +++ (three plus signs) at the location where you want the script results to be printed. "template.htm" is for the admin mode whereas
"template2.htm" is for the print mode. See STEP 2 in the script for details.
